4 Bright Orange Lights Over San Bernardino, CA

Time: Approx: 9:00 p.m.

This same thing happened on 5/1/10 at about 9pm. There were 4 bright orange balls, and they appeared to be stars at first, but they moved very slow. I was in San Bernardino with three co-workers when we saw them. They were in the sky to the east. After about 3 minutes two of them started dropping smaller orange partials, and then went away. The other 2 stayed lit for another 2 minutes then went away. This was very unusual, as I am not a believer in aliens or other life forms in outer space. I think they might have been pieces burning off from a meteor, but I am confused because of their slow movement up and down. San Bernardino Police received numerous calls about this same event I was told.
