Y Shaped UFO Over Santa Barbara California

Location of Sighting: Santa Barbara, CA.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 6-8
Shape of Objects: Round dip orange lights.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was outside smoking a cigarette with two friends. I looked up and saw a large group of round dim orange lights traveling quickly but steadily. They did not look to be separate crafts but one large craft. The lights were in a Y shape and looked like they might be a visible base of a craft where the rest is invisible, if that makes sense. It went steadily across the sky almost as if it was orbiting but then disappeared before it rounded the horizon.

Both my friends saw it too, but one insisted it was a satellite. I quickly Googled on my phone after the event (which lasted probably 15 seconds) what an orbiting satellite would look like from earth with the naked eye and all sources said it would be only a spec, this did not in anyway look like something humanly launched into the sky. It looked like something the size of a football field flying a bit below airplane altitude. My other friend agreed that it was no satellite. I came across your site when I did a search for "round orange lights" UFO. It moved me. I'm open to any questions. - Thanks.
