Orange Light Seen From Chellaston In Derby

Time: Approx: 11:30 p.m.

I saw an orange object burning in the sky last night from Chellaston In Derby at around 23.30 (2nd September). I couldn’t figure out what it was looking out of the window so went outside to have a look. Even though it was traveling horizontally, It definitely wasn’t a plane. My initial thought was that it could a satellite burning up on entry, but it seemed far to close to be that and the direction it was traveling wouldn’t really have supported that theory . No idea what it was so had a look online today to see if there were any other sightings, and I saw your website.
