Orange Balls Of Light Over Delavan, Wisconsin
Date: July 3rd and 4th, 2010
Time: Approx: 10:30 p.m.
Brian, I happened upon your website because I've been searching for
3 days for an explanation of what my friends and family witnessed
on July 3rd and 4th, 2010. We were in Delavan, Wisconsin on July 3rd
at about 10:30pm, a large, round, orange ball came out of the southeast
sky traveling northwest. It flew right over our heads. It was bright
orange, round, completely silent, and moving fast.
We couldn't tell exactly how high it was, but we estimated 5000 feet.
As it was a clear night, we saw several satellites that night and
it wasn't even close to the same thing or altitude. About 4 minutes
after the first one flew over, another one, exactly the same and on
exactly the same trajectory, flew right behind it. It also was traveling
fast and in about 45 seconds it disappeared due to it's distance from
us.
On July 4th, we were scanning the sky and saw it again, this time
across Lake Delavan about 2 miles from us. It was the same object
traveling just as fast, but since it was further away, we couldn't
get as good a look at it. The interesting thing about the July 4th
sighting was that it was cloudy out and this orange ball was under
the cloud cover.
Any ideas on what it was, we've been talking about it for days and
ruling out planes, helicopters, satellites, shooting stars, hot air
balloons, etc. Thanks.
