10 Orange Lights Seen Over Elgin Illinois

Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.

Yes! We were outside last night (July 4, 2010) around 10:00pm, Elgin, Il, great view from our balcony, we can see so much, and in a row, maybe 1 minute apart. We saw this orange light. I got out my binoculars and looked as close as I could, and it looked like an eagle with it's tail on fire, no kidding. There were like 10 the whole night, same straight line same direction.

I thought it could be someone pulling a prank, like a balloon or something, but how could it go in that same exact path? This was too weird. We have seen 3 different times, and this time of year, strange things over our place. I distinctly remember last year, we were out walking and was what looked like a paper bag with a green light in it, like those that people put outside during Christmas to line their drives, and again, it flew too fast and straight line like these orange ones, except it was lower and we could see it clearly, no sound again either. Hmmm, is something watching us?
