Orange Light Over Gillingham UK

Hello, I just saw an orange light over Gillingham, details below:

I went outside and saw the light (I also saw them on the 22nd) at 20:55, but it was low as a low flying light aircraft, at this altitude what I saw was what looked like an orange ball of fire, what I mean by this is, that as it moved forwards what looked like a flames roared forwards and back, much as a camp fire does. The object gained altitude rapidly and after about 3 minutes was no longer visible. My field of vision showed no clouds so the object was not distorted by cloud cover.

I'm located near the Strand in Gillingham, my girlfriend and I also saw them on the 22nd, for no more than one minute as the object was extremely high. As it passed low overhead I heard no engine noise, in-fact no noise at all. Any information on this? Thanks.
