Bright Orange Light Over Leicester UK

Shape of Objects: Round bright orange light.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We saw a bright orange light in the sky and at first, thought it was a plane, but planes don't tend to be orange (we see many planes descending as we live in the flight path for East Midlands airport) We watched the light for about a minute. It would burn bright then fade then come back bright again and eventually it faded away to nothing at all but appeared to go upwards as if it faded into orbit.
