Bright Shinning Object Over Montreal, Quebec

Shape of Objects: Like a bright star.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I saw what appeared to be a bright northern star, it was a very large star which appeared to have a bright aura around it, within half an hour it slowly moved farther north, but went lower in the sky until it vanished. My son and I watched as it slowly float away, but never lost it's intense brightness, just like a huge bright northern star. The night sky was very clear we could see it very well.
