Orange Light Over Offerton UK

Hi Brian, I too saw the light you were originally referring to in February, but tonight, Saturday 17/4 2010 whilst taking the dog out for a walk at 21:30hrs, I again noticed a vivid orange 'star' like object in the skies it had 6 'arms' protruding from the centre. This was in Offerton. I watched it for about 1 minute and then it just seemed to vanish? As this was a night that all UK flights have been grounded, it was definitely not an airplane. I wonder what this is?
