Bright Orange Red Fire Object Over Salem, Indiana

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My Wife called me to the rear of our house as she was letting out dogs. She noticed the strangely-lit object steadily moving across the sky. It was a lot larger than an airplane light, and did not blink, it was bright, round, and an orangish-red color, without defined edges and almost appeared to be burning or on fire. It had no visible trail or smoke. It was silent and moved southwest to northeast and eventually disappeared from sight. We viewed the object for approximately 1-2 minutes. There were no clouds in the sky. We have both witnessed thousands airplanes at night and neither of us had seen anything like this before. The whole experience is quite eerie.
