Orange Fire Like Light Near Scranton, Pennsylvania

Hi, I was in shock this morning when my husband called me to say he heard on the radio dozens of people who had seen the same thing we had on the 4th of July. It was approximately 10:30pm. We were sitting on our patio that over looks the mountains in Pennsylvania (we live near Scranton, PA) watching the fire works from all the towns we could see from our back yard. Then this strange orange fire like light appeared. It was slow moving and came about in a circle over top of where we were sitting and where our neighbors were shooting off their own display of fireworks.

We all watched as the light moved away towards Montage Mountain, and then disappeared without a trace. Seconds later the light reappeared, miles away over top of Montage Mountain, and then was gone.

None of us could explain what it was, the men of course were all about air planes and helicopters, but we would have heard them. This was dead silent, just a slow moving orange flame like light in the sky.

I don't think I've ever been more intrigued or freaked out at the same time. What the hell were these lights?
