Orange Light Looked Like A Plane On Fire

Time: Approx: 11:30 p.m.

Dear Brian, at about 11:30pm last night my neighbour upstairs and I were coming into the house at the same time. As we talked at the front of the house, I noticed a huge orange light in the sky which was quite low and looked like a plane on fire. It was travelling towards Crystal Palace way, we live in Streatham.

At one point it looked as if it was falling from the sky, then it seemed to stabilize and travel at the same speed as an aircraft. What's stranger is that there was no engine noise. It didn't frighten us, we were just baffled. I want you to know that I have never in my life even thought about UFO's, but that was the weirdest experience. I phoned some of my friends and none of them believed me, but I know what a saw and I have a witness.
