Orange UFOs Make Wild Maneuvers Over

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was outside my home on a semi cloudy night when I witnessed 4 orange lights approaching in the sky, not very high, quite close, but obviously individual. The lights were sort of in a line, coming from the west, Southport direction. I assumed they were military helicopters flying in convoy, but as they approached, I waited for the associated noise from this kind of craft, but the night was silent. As they got closer, the third light shot away at a right angle towards the south at immense speed, this was copied a couple of seconds later by the 2nd light, then the third, the 1st light continued in my direction for another 3 or 4 seconds before that too bolted away.

Once out of sight, a white light appeared in the distance and roughly in the direction the orange lights had disappeared to. The white light was stationary and grew in intensity and size for a second or two and then flew off at speed in an almost vertical path then disappeared again all of this happened without any sound, would really like to know if anyone else witnessed this.
